On the evening of September 1, 2023, Heritage International Leadership Academy (HILA) welcomed students, parents, teachers, and staff to its annual Back-to-School Night event. This cherished tradition offered a glimpse into the upcoming academic year and allowed families to connect with the school community.
The Back-to-School Night at Heritage International Leadership Academy commenced with a warm welcome, filled with anticipation and excitement, setting the stage for a wonderful evening.
Mr. Ngangana did not disappoint, serving as the host with the most; he curated a fun evening filled with laughter, fun, dancing, and a HILA favorite, TRIVIA! The best part about Back-to-School night is that students could reconnect with each other, teachers, and staff. It was a family reunion indeed!
Heritage International Leadership Academy places a strong emphasis on building a supportive community. Back-to-School Night provided an ideal platform for parents to connect with one another. The bonds formed during this event go beyond the school gates and create a network of support that can benefit students and families throughout the year.
We concluded the event with a heartwarming memorial to Ms. Andrea Morris, our former Principal, who unfortunately passed away recently. She was an amazing educator and mentor to our Trailblazers, and the HILA community will deeply miss her.
As we embark on this new academic year, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide a holistic education that prepares students for a bright future. We look forward to an amazing year and cannot wait to welcome all our Trailblazers back to school!
